POCAHONTAS
L’histoire de Pocahontas a été adaptée plusieurs fois au cinéma, mais la plus connue reste la version de Disney sortie en 1995 et sous-titrée Une légende indienne. Le film raconte l’histoire d’une fille de chef de tribu amérindienne (Powhatan) qui refuse de se marier à un guerrier de sa tribu et tombe amoureuse d’un colon anglais nommé John Smith. Pocahontas est une princesse Disney indépendante et intrépide qui influencera d’autres héroïnes du studio.
